Hot Lap Events/GoLo RACING “Hot Lapper” Award for WCC

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Hot Lap Events, Ontario’s newest Track Day Event organizer and partner GoLo RACING, a fast growing race team, are excited to announce their support for the Pro Honda Oils Women’s Cup Challenge race series by sponsoring what will be known as the Hot Lap Events/GoLo RACING WCC “Hot Lapper” Award.
 
The Hot Lap Events/GoLo RACING WCC “Hot Lapper” Award will be awarded to the competitor who exhibits top performance and sportsmanship both on the track and off.  Hot Lap Events, GoLo RACING and the Pro Honda Oils Women’s Cup Challenge will select the recipient based on overall professional conduct, sportsmanship and of course performance for the entire weekend from “start to finish”.  The award winner will be presented with a $200 track time credit during the podium ceremonies. Hot Lapper will be able to redeem the track time credit through the 2008-2009 Hot laps/GoLo RACING track days. Pre registration of minimum 15 days will be mandatory.

Hot Lap Events hosted their inaugural Track Day Event October, 2007.  Hot Lap Events will be hosting 6 Track Day Events in 2008 utilizing various track configurations at Shannonville Motorsports Park.  With a motivated team, Hot Lap Events is committed to bringing the type of quality Event that exceeds all possible expectations of their valued track day enthusiasts.

GoLo RACING came on the racing scene in 2005.  Since that time the team has committed itself to aiding the growth of the sport both on and off the track.  This is apparent on track through the performance of a race team lead by Rahul Dua and the quality work of a talented Crew lead by Craig Atkinson.  Off track the team has given back to the sport by way of hosting events such as the Max Mercier Breakfast, promoting “Safe riding on street and Fast riding on track” at various motorcycle shows across the GTA and by hosting an annual GoLo Track Day Event that has grown in popularity each year it has run.
